Stacy TenHouten
Stacy TenHouten is a trauma-informed yoga teacher, artist, and facilitator with over 30 years of experience in the healing arts. Her work integrates somatic practice, depth psychology, and creative expression to support healing, resilience, and meaningful connection to the body.
Stacy teaches with the intention of offering practical tools to help navigate stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She works intuitively with individuals and groups to cultivate sustainable yoga practices that can be integrated into daily life as a source of physical health, emotional regulation, and trauma recovery.
She received her teaching certification through Santa Monica Yoga and completed Trauma-Informed Yoga certification under the mentorship of Kyra Haglund and Hala Khouri. Stacy has developed programs in addiction recovery, post-incarceration reentry, and sexual trauma healing, and has worked extensively with underserved youth throughout Los Angeles, earning the Teacher of Hope Award from the City of Los Angeles in 2012.
Stacy facilitates embodied dream work groups internationally and serves as a facilitator within This Jungian Life’s Dream School Dream Studio programs. She also contributes as a facilitator for Lisa Marchiano’s Spinning Straw fairy tale series, guiding participants in accessing healing wisdom through movement, imagination, and symbol.
