Yoga and Ayurveda for the Fall with Jeff Perlman

In this class, Jeff will introduce the fundamentals of Ayurvedic medicine and share holistic practices to promote health as we transition to the fall season. The class will also include a yoga sequence designed to balance and rejuvenate the body, mind, and spirit.

Yoga and Ayurveda are sister sciences rooted in the traditional five elements (ether, air, fire, water, and earth) that make up all of nature. As the seasons shift, the fluctuating energies of the elements can lead to imbalance. This class will focus on restoring balance through specific yoga practices and Ayurvedic therapies including food/diet, herbs, and bodywork.

This class is suitable for students of all levels.
