Free Introduction to Iyengar Yoga

Iyengar Yoga emphasizes correct alignment and precision. It uses props such as belts, blocks, and blankets, making it accessible for all body types and ages. Its practice develops strength, flexibility, and confidence, increases vitality, and reduces anxiety and stress. During this class, Jeff will introduce the basic history of yoga and how B.K.S. Iyengar developed one of the three main types of yoga practiced today. This class will include a yoga sequence suitable for any level of student.

Jeff is a Level II Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor with a background in holistic health that enriches his teaching. He has studied directly with the Iyengar family in India and completed the rigorous teacher-training program at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of Los Angeles. Jeff integrates his deep knowledge of yoga with a passion for holistic well-being and is certified as an IAYT and Ayuryoga Therapist, Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist, and Nutritional Chef. Jeff brings insights from these modalities to create well-rounded, accessible classes for everyone.
