Awaken your somatic awareness and reconnect with your body’s innate wisdom. As you rebuild trust in what your body is sensing, you may notice how chronic tension or pain can keep you stuck in patterns of unconscious holding that cloud thought, limit movement, and dull your sense of self.
We will practice the art of pandiculation—a powerful technique Thomas Hanna used to restore conscious control of muscle function. Based on an intuitive yawn-stretch response (common in both humans and animals), pandiculation is used intentionally to re-engage the brain's connection to muscle function. You will learn to work with the nervous system to release patterns of tension, creating space for change and greater freedom of movement.
Through this process, you'll reconnect with your sensory awareness, relieve chronic pain, and strengthen the brain–body connection. As you sense your body from a new perspective, you’ll discover more freedom in how you move—and how you live.
What you will learn:
Move efficiently with more freedom
Deepen your understanding of the body-brain connection
Soothe and regulate your nervous system
Strengthen your capacity to self-heal
Trust what you sense in your body
