Slow Flow: Freedom Yoga is an invitation to slow down, move with intention, and reconnect with the beauty of your inner landscape. Guided by breath and supported by music, this class begins with grounding breathing practices to calm the mind and settle the body. We’ll then gently warm up and move through a slow, mindful flow that builds strength, flexibility, and balance while honoring ease and awareness.
With special attention to alignment and form, postures are held long enough to cultivate stability, fluidity, and vitality. Breathwork and steady guidance help bring you back into deep body awareness, encouraging freedom of movement and presence. As we hold postures and work with the breath, gentle guidance brings us back into deep body awareness, helping us build strength and stability—qualities that support us both on and off the mat. Modifications are offered throughout so you can practice safely and in a way that feels supportive and empowering for your body.
We’ll close with a deeply restorative relaxation, allowing the benefits of the practice to fully integrate. Alie’s intention is to help you feel your best, move with freedom, and leave class grounded, strong, and inspired. Everyone is welcome, so please drop by! She loves requests, so don’t be shy!
