Schedule Update & Price Increase - May 14
As you may know, the Santa Monica Yoga schedule isn’t due to be updated until September. Unfortunately, increased expenses, including a large increase to our rent and parking costs, make it necessary to take some actions now. Changes will include a price increase and minor schedule changes (details below).

These changes will start Monday, May 14. Newly printed schedules will be available at the studio soon.
Price Increase- Effective May 14
Class prices will increase about 5%, or $1 per class. The $10 Community Class price will increase $2 to $12.
Schedule Changes - Effective May 14
I have removed five lightly attended class times from the schedule, and made changes to a few other time slots.
The class times removed from the schedule are:
- Tuesday/Thursday 8:15 pm All Levels
- Tuesday 7:30 pm Iyengar
- Wednesday 8:45 am Prenatal
- Friday 7:45 am Meditation
The changed class times are:
- Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 6:45 pm start times moved back to 6:30 pm
- Wednesday 10:30 am Chair Yoga, now 10:45 am Adaptive Yoga with Cindy Fraser
- Saturday 12:45 pm, new class: Yoga Form & Alignment with Candis Berens
And here are a few changes from March 5, in case you missed them:
- Tuesday/Thursday 10:45 am is now All Levels with Indira Shekerjian
- Tuesday/Thursday 12:30 pm is now Slow Deep Stretch with Cindy Fraser
- Wednesday/Friday 9:00 am is now Level 1-2 with Mary Donovan
- New Community Class: Fridays 12:30 pm, Level 1-2 with Jenny Pagliaro
- Fridays 6:00 pm is now All Levels Flow with Essential Oils with Stacy Tenhouten
- Wednesdays 5:00 pm is now All Levels Flow with Stacy Tenhouten (Riayn Shumacher continues to teach Monday and Friday at 5:00 pm)
