New Schedule Starts March 5

Dear Students,

A new Santa Monica Yoga schedule arrives Monday March 5. This time around I had to make some difficult choices and discontinue a number of classes which were not well attended. The new schedule is still quite robust at 89 classes per week. Overall I think it’s a better schedule, but it is always a work-in-progress, so I thank you in advance for your understanding and support!

In addition to streamlining the classes, I have also changed and streamlined prices. The prices for single and quantity (5, 10, 20) packages have been increased slightly, while the price for monthly unlimited has been reduced. The price for monthly unlimited now makes sense for those of you who do at least two classes each week, and I hope more people will take advantage of this option! Some of our less popular class packages have been discontinued.

We will continue to offer 10% discount for those with the following memberships: KCRW Fringe Benefits, Co-Opportunity, Heal the Bay, School Teacher, students, seniors. To receive this discount, please present your valid membership card or ID each time when making a pass purchase. Please note that a discount will no longer be given on unlimited passes.

  • 12:15 pm “Slow Deep Stretch” with Indira Shekerjian changes time to 12:30-1:30 pm and moves to the North Studio
  • 12:30 pm Community class discontinued
  • 1:30 pm “Mommy & Me” changes time to 1:45-3:00 pm
  • 2:30 pm “Level 1/Gentle & Therapeutic” changes time to 3:15-4:30 pm, replacing 3:30 pm Community class in North Studio
  • 4:30 pm Kundalini class discontinued
  • 5:00-6:20 pm class now taught by Lori Snyder as “Power Yoga Groove”(previously at 12:30 pm)
  • 7:30-9:00 pm – new class –“Iyengar Level 1” with Lori McIntosh in Garden Studio

Thursday

  • 12:15 pm “Slow Deep Stretch” with Indira Shekerjian changes time to 12:30-1:30 pm and moves to the North Studio
  • 12:30 pm Community class discontinued
  • 1:30 pm Mommy & Me class disctontinued
  • 2:30 pm Gentle class changes time to 3:15-4:30 pm as “Restorative Yoga”, replacing 3:30 pm Community class in North Studio
  • 4:30 pm Kundalini class discontinued
  • 5:00-6:20 pm class now taught by Lori Snyder as “Power Yoga Groove”(previously at 12:30 pm)

Friday

  • 4:30 pm “Level 1/Gentle & Therapeutic” changes time to 1:00-2:15 pm
  • 4:30-6:00 pm – new class – “Power Yoga” with Steve Jones in South Studio
  • All other classes remain the same
